Members of the Luxembourg Amateur Radio Union (LARU) are welcoming

The Bulgarian Radio Club Blagovestnik (LZ1KCP) continues to
commemorate the memory of Bulgarian saints during December with the

Mike/NA9Q is going to operate holiday-style as PJ4/NA9Q between

V85, Brunei Darussalam:
Tom/KC0W remains active as V85/KC0W until some time in December.

VE, Canada:
The special event station CK100VDA commemorates the explosion of
the French munition ship Mont Blanc 100 years ago (6 Dec. 1917),
which claimed 2000 lifes. QRV between Dec. 2 and 10. QSL cards will

XW, Laos:
Ken/K4ZW will be active again signing XW4ZW between Dec. 3 and 8 on

During December Youngsters on the Air makes another effort to
introduce amateur radio to young interested parties. The following
stations have already registered their plans to operate: 3V8YOTA,
6V1YOTA, 9A17YOTA, DQ17YOTA, ES9YOTA, GB17YOTA, II2YOTA, OD5YOTA,
OF2YOTA, R17YOTA, SH9YOTA, ZS9YOTA, and more. QSL for all calls via

IOTA DXpedition to Taumako Island - OC-179:
Cezar/VE3LYC plans to activate a five-day activation of Taumako
Island (OC-179, DXCC H40) for early May 2018. The only prior
activation of this island (by Bernhard/H44MS) dates back 25 years.
Cezar is going to set up a website with further information in due
time.
4X, Israel:
Members of the Holy Land DX Group will be active from the Shivta
National Park (4XFF-032), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, from Dec.
22 to 24 with the call 4X0XMAS (tnx info Jan/4X1VF).
Dov/4Z4DX announces that 4X2XMAS, 4X3XMAS, 4X4XMAS, 4X6XMAS,
4X7XMAS, and 4X9XMAS will be operating from several HOCOTA
locations between Dec. 22 and 24. QSOs will count towards a special
award as well.
Taboga Island - NA-072:
Massimo/HP1MAC, Ricardo/HP1RIS, Gianni/HP1YLS, and Stefan/HP1DRK
are planning to activate Taboga Island (NA-072) from Jan. 6 and 9
next year as H91IT. QSL via HP1RCP (d).
DL, Germany:
DK200MARX will be active during the Karl Marx Year 2018,
commemorating his birthday 200 years ago.
