Byron/KF8UN will be signing 4L/KF8UN from the 9th to 11th, mainly

4X, ISRAEL:
Israeli amateurs may use the special prefixes 4X74 or 4Z74 between
May 5 and 11 to mark their country's 74th anniversary of
independence.
9N, NEPAL:
Janusz/SP9FIH and Leszek/SP6CIK are paying Nepal a visit until May
19, operating as 9N7WE and 9N7CI respectively. QRV on 40-6m. QSL

Ilya/R5AF and Igor/R4FCN will be active as EX/R5AF and EX/R4FCN
between the 9th and 14th from EXFF-0002 - Issyk-Kul State Nature
Reserve and EXFF-0011 - Ala-Archa State Natural Park. QRV on
40-10m, mainly on CW and FT8. QSL via homecalls.
I, ITALY:
Members of the ARI section Genova (IQ1GE) celebrate the 30th
anniversary of the arts centre Porto Antico during May with the
callsign II1PA. QSL via bureau, ClubLog OQRS, LoTW, eQSL.
P2, PAPUA-NEUGUINEA:
Alberto/EA4PL, resident in Port Moresby, is known to many CW DXers
already with his callsign P29LL. He is running a 750W amplifier
with vertical antennas and now plans to branch out operating other

VK0, ANTARCTICA:
Warren/VK7WN is a member of the Australian crew on Casey Station
for the 2022 winter. During his spare time he plans to operate as
Vk0WN. LoTW registration and QSL card printing are both in the

OC-032; FK, NEW CALEDONIA ISLAND: Jean-Louis/F5NHJ operates
holiday-style as FK/F5NHJ between the 5th and 11 on HF (CW, SSB,

SA-004; HC8, GALAPAGOS ISLANDS: Gustavo/HC2FG will be active as
HD8FG from the 4th to 8th on 6m (FT8) and via satellites. QSL via

Upcoming Island Activations:
Erik/KV1J had to reschedule his trip to St. Pierre & Miquelon
(IOTA NA-032, DIFO FP-002, WLOTA 1417), which was initially
planned for 2021. He now hopes to be on the island from June 28
until July 12. More information to follow.
Thaire/W2APF has postponed his visit to Montserrat (NA-133). He
now plans activate the island from Jan. 2 until March 31 in 2023.

Information on past island activaitons:
FO/A AUSTRAL IS.: The TX5N DXpedition to Raivavae (OC-114) shut down on
April 29 around 1115z. Internet service on the island is very slow;
detailed statistics will be provided once the operators have returned
home. Logs have been uploaded though.
